Since 2009 Pine Grove Ministries has been doing ministry with God’s Grace Ministries in Webuye, Kenya, Africa. Bishop Kellam and Pastor Rose Nyongesa lead a network of over 20 churches.

 

In 2010 Pine Grove took our first trip to Webuye. We sent a small group of four; Apostle Marc and Julia, Minister’s Roy Gauld and John Yoder. While in Africa, they held several meetings a day over 10 days.

 

In 2011 New Beginnings Church, Marysville, Ohio joined the ministry in Webuye. Pastors Dan and Shannon Steepe along with Apostle Marc and Jules and Minister John Yoder spent 10 days in Webuye. They were able to share in 3 services a day for several days with tremendous response. They were also able to visit several of the network churches.

 

The 2012 trip was August 2nd through August 16th. The team was comprised of 11 members including Pastor Dan Steepe from New Beginnings Church in Marysville, OH. There were 150 in attendence at the women’s conference. Members of the team were able to spend time ministering to indiviuals and in small group settings. Joel, Jessi and Joline from our team had a very effective ministry with about 120 children and teens. They played games, sang songs and told Bible stories. Joel was able to use his gift of drama to help the communications with the children and young adults. Several of the team were able to work with the leadership. The team was able to travel to some of the outlying churches for visits with their congregations.

 

2013 trip was a great trip composed of Apostle Marc, Julia and our Head Elder, Tracey Bartlett. They were in country for 10 days. A word of prophesy was delivered to the congregation that the Lord had given for the region of Webuye. The prophesy was very well received. Time was also spent helping the leadership to see how to start implementing some of the prophesy. The Women’s Conference was very well attended again. During this time our team was able to take part in a wedding ceremony where five of the pastors and their wives renewed their wedding vows or took vows for the first time. At the end of the week, they took part in an ordination service for five pastors. Pine Grove’s team was able to prophesy over each of them and their wives and to pray over their ministries. It was an honor to be present for those services.

 

2016 trip Apostle Marc, Prophetess Julia and John Yoder traveled to Africa to minister with our network churches.  They visited several of the churches that usually attend the conferences that we have held in the years past.

 

2018 This year the ministry team that were able to spend 16 days in Kenya.  The team included 4 members from Pine Grove Church and 4 from New Beginnings Church in Marysville, Ohio.  They were able to spend time in Webuye conducting a Leadership Conference, wher 10 nations were in attendance.  They also spent several days traveling to several outlying churches where they were able to share teachings and prophetic words.  They concluded the trip in Narobi where they celebrated the second anniversary of that church and held two days Evangelistic and Revival Services.  It is so exciting to see God’s hand at work in the Churches and people in Africa.

 

2019 There were two trips this year.  The first trip was for the Women’s Conference in August.  There were seven women that traveled, three from Pine Grove Church and four from New Beginnings Church from Marysville, Ohio.  In November Apostle Marc Hoard, John Yoder and Mike Peuler made a trip and spent a week working with the Leadership and Pastors.

 

2020 At this time with the Locust and the Covid-19 pandemic there is not a trip planned for this year.  We continue to support the churches in Africa through prayer and intercession.
